You guys are going to make the physical book and the electronic book available for everyone to buy too correct?
Hello Randall, we are only making enough books to complete the orders. We will not be selling them on the open market.
What about the eBook version? You could offer that one herer on the webiste.
I gather the idea is to honor the commitment of making and maintaining the ‘perks’ as valuable assets to those who supported the effort. How would selling it open market retain the collector’s value if it were to be produced/sold in mass?
While the NES game based on Dragon’s Lair pales in comparison to the arcade game, it had a pretty good title theme, and if possible, it would be great to hear an arrangement of it somewhere in the movie.
Oh, man! I want that book! It’s definitely too late to purchase it?
Wow, I don’t even recall seeing “The Art of Dragon’s Lair” as a option to support where was it at and how much?
I’m with Lorenzo on this. I don’t recall seeing the option to buy the ebook Art Of.
Almost finished with the Dragon’s Lair pitch presentation? Awesome. Can’t wait to check it out as a big fan of Dragon’s Lair since 1982. Congratulations in advance on completing this traditional animation short film starring Dirk and Daphne! What was the toughest part of the process or was it all a fun challenge to complete?
I dont remember seeing The art of Dragons Lair book to buy, That wouldve been awesome to have
Before you send these are you going to send emails to confirm addresses? It’s been a while since the campaign ended and I know I’m not the only one who’s changed location in the meantime.
Hello Tyler, be sure you update your address on Indiegogo’s website. We have sent multiple updates asking for contributors to keep us updated. We pull the addresses off of Indiegogo directly.
I never saw an option for the book as well. I would LOVE a book, can I order one?
Hello there,
I received my “Animation Collector” package, and was very VERY pleased! 🙂 One thing though, I ordered a medium shirt but got a large instead; it’s really too big for me. Do you have a medium to trade per my original request?
Thanks in advance!
Hi, can you please place updates regarding the perks and shipping on the indiegogo page? Not everyone who supported the campaign is a member/has access to this site. Thank you!
I’m looking forward to everything! Dragon’s Lair was my favorite game. Keep up the good work, guys!
Good luck with the presentation!
What was the option to get the digital download of the book? Was it an inclusive bonus?
Man! I’m so glad and so sad at the same time that everything is coming to its conclusion… At least, related to the pitch presentation. But there is the movie itself also!!! A whole new adventure! I hope you manage to make it happen and that we bakers will have some way of following all the process. I’m going to miss all these posts and updates… You guys rock! And I love all my perks. Thanks a lot for all these wonderful times!
Wow, great progress! Thank you! This is very exciting news. I hope the pitch goes smoothly. The success of the campaign should make for an easy and lucrative agreement. Don’t forget to ask for a good percentage of the merchandising! When (not if) the movie comes out, kids everywhere are going to be buying Dragon’s Lair stuff.
Hello, my member’s subscription has been pending for months now despite the fact that it never once asked for my credit card information. And has nowhere for me to add that info. So I haven’t been able to view any of the members only content and I’m worried I won’t be able to view the final pitch presentation. If anyone could explain to me how this site works and what I could do to become a full member I would greatly appreciate it.
Hello Celinda, we just double checked. You are a “Full Member”. You should be able to see the “Member’s Only” content now.
Thank you so much!!
And I would kill for even a digital copy of the Dragon’s Lair Art Book. I never saw it on the Indiegogo campaign, or I’d have gotten it immediately.
Okay, okay…. so, best guess as to when we will all be able to see it?
I am positively electrified with anticipation for the presentation!
Good Evening, I wanted to inform you that I’ve finally got my “inbetweener” Box, took this long because it was stuck at customs. So Thank you Don Bluth and Gary Goldman for all of this, I’ll treasure it. I wish you good luck Dragon’s Lair. =)
I have high hopes for the Dragon’s Lair movie. Someone needs to show Disney what good animation is about. None of their mass produced digital Pixar sequels have the heart and soul that real artists working with tools, not IPads, achieve.
PS: When you do succeed, Doug Walker can suck an egg.
I would also love to purchase the physical copy of The Art of Dragon’s Lair. If you ever change your mind and publish any extra copies please let us know.
This may, in fact, be the first campaign that I’ve backed that has shown any signs of actual progress. That being said, I am holding myself back while wishing to know the projected film release date so I can plan ahead. I know it’s a bit away for that, but I am sitting on very fidgety hands. Also, has anyone seen a release of Titan A.E. on Bluray yet?
Hello friends. Does anybody by any chance have link to the frame for the Castle Pan print? My measurements are 13 1/2 x 24. In the video Don and Gary say there is a perfect frame at Micheal’s. Anybody have a link?
Also, the print is awesome! One of the most iconic images from my childhood. It’s amazing how your imagination can run wild by looking at an image. I always thought it would be cool to have additional scenes of Dragon’s Lair where Dirk fights his way through the thicket!
I found the frame! It’s the 3-Opening Collage Frame by Studio Decor. All you have to do is ditch the matting and the frame perfectly fits the Castle Pan print.
Here’s the link.

The print looks beautiful framed.
