Inking & Painting for Dirk & Princess Daphne Cels

Beth Anne Gee, a 30 year-plus veteran Inker/Painter known as the Queen Bee, has been inking all of the cels of the selected character drawings for her painting crew. Here she is finishing up one of the Dirk the Daring & Princess Daphne cels! Once they are all complete she ships them to us for Don & Gary to sign. We then package them, in large “no-bend” flat envelopes, and send them out to the recipients.

We still have some cels available here!

We just shipped all of the “Gamer” perks. We had to confirm a few addresses, but they have all gone out now. The next perk we are working on is the “Slayer” perk. There have been some changes to the Dragon’s Lair hats and we expect delivery early next week. We’ll be packaging them the moment they arrive.

We thank all of you for your patience regarding the delays we’ve incurred. We are pleased to share our updates with you. We are sure that you are going appreciate Beth Anne’s skills. We feel so lucky that she agreed to take on this huge challenge.

WOW! That vid is amazing! Man, 1 mistake and it’s start over! Great video to show how much time and work it takes! One can guess, but until you SEE it like this, being demonstrated by a truly skilled person, I’m even MORE impressed by the abilities of the ink and painters! 😀

Thanks for making/sharing the vid! Now thinking about how feature-length animated films done in the traditional way is even MORE impressive. LOL Just, WOW!

I think I held my breath for most of the video. It looks really difficult but you have a very fine crew and they’re producing beautiful work.
