  1. Who are the voice actors in this movie? My guess Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell, Tress Macneille, Maurice Lamarche, Tom Kenny, and Tara Strong.

I second Tara Strong. I hope you also reach out to David Deluise as a tribute to his father’s impact on the Bluth films.

” Boy, this is going to get about as joyous as making films one frame at a time.” Hah! That’s the kind of brilliantly ironic humor I have come to love you guys for.

I know I would go crazy with all those signatures so I’m glad to hear you guys are taking it at a reasonable pace. We’d also probably rather get our signed stuff a bit later if it means you guys don’t ruin your hands in the process!

“He has secluded himself in a room with an over-head camera with a lapel microphone to talk about the art he is preparing”

This is extremely exciting! I am very much looking forward to this!

How will we know when the perks are going to be mailed to us? Your movies are amazing! 🙂

I think they are likely to announce it just like here where it is pointing out the methods going into preparing them. Indegogo did say not to expect them until December so things are going ahead of that schedule already. But there are allot of perks to get together before shipping.

I honestly don’t care too much about who voices who, as long as Vera Lanpher and Dan Molina come back. Their voices are so unique to the characters is would be jarring without them.

I’m so glad this was able to be funded. I can’t wait to see the end results. I love the Dragon’s Lair arcade games and I’m looking forward to that type of animation in the upcoming movie!

It’d be cool if any of the original voices from the game could be brought back to reprise their roles. There are a lot of GREAT voice actors out there for other cast. A couple of my favorite voice actor choices would be, Paul Dobson, who can do a smooth and nefarious sounding voice. Larry Kenney with a strong commanding voice but can do other cool voices you wouldn’t believe. I’ve heard both of them in various things on TV over the years, and they both seem VERY versatile with their voice ranges and voice types. But whomever gets cast I’m sure they’ll fit the part well! One thing about Don Bluth films that has always impressed me, is the QUALITY of them! Including the voices! 😀 So I’m sure they’ll find fine voice actors for whatever parts need filling! ^_^

I LOVE the transparency in what’s happening. Thank you so much for keeping us updated! So much love for you guys and what you’re doing!

  10. Cheers to our real heroes! 🙂 ((Don Bluth & Gary, and the rest of the gang!))

Lotta talk about voice actors here… I honestly hope it’s not just closed-door casting. Would be pretty cool if my agent slid something for this project across my desk…

  12. Daniel Pollman says:

Great to hear! Thanks for the update info.

Can’t wait for the Toontalk scans!

Who wants to bet that Jim Cummings or Frank Welker is going to be in this movie?

  15. This is so exciting, that’s why I ended up contributing twice to the Dragon’s Lair campaign!
A behind the scene access to the making of the animated portion for this pitch is such a treat!… can’t wait for the next update! ….also looking forward to the pdf’s animation manuals!.. (That’s for the “Moviegoer” perk) 🙂

Sorry this is so very late!!

Im not sure If anyone has mentioned this but I was curious if they will bring back Dan Molina for his talent?
His voice is so attached to the characters that It would be hard not to hear his ever-so-popular screams.

    Anyone know if he is?
